Position: Missions Pastor

 

The role of the Missions Pastor is to mobilize Cartersville First Baptist for Acts 1:8 missions. 

His ministry includes the responsibility of casting vision, recruiting volunteers, training church members, discovering mission opportunities, coordinating mission logistics, building mission partnerships, raising missions support, and leading the church on mission by example.

 The Missions Pastor is also responsible for the strategy and direction of CFBC’s Mission efforts under the overall vision of the Senior Pastor. The Missions Pastor must exhibit a vibrant personal and growing relationship with Christ, a teachable spirit, a healthy family life, and a consistent effort to share the Gospel. He must display the pastoral character qualifications described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.  

 The Missions Pastor will be expected to be a continual learner always seeking to grow in the needed knowledge, understanding, and skills to lead the church well in missions.
